We are a cross disability organization, with a prime objective for empowerment of Persons with Disabilities through capacity building and counseling according to UNCRPD (United Nation Convention on the Rights of Person with Disabilities). Voice Society is a Disable Persons Organization (DPO) which consists of group of young & devoted Persons with Disabilities, those committed to work for the Rehabilitation for Persons with Disabilities and also raise voice for their rights according to UNCRPD. We get registered on 14th December 2007, under Ordinance, 1961 (XLVI of 1961). We are also Tax Exempted organization of 2/36. 

Our team consists on seven members, 5 men and 2 women who are running the organization we ourselves are polio disabled and have led this initiative on our own as teenager. 

 The aim of Voice Society is to undertake such activities which will make persons with disabilities self-supporting citizens of the society. For this purpose we establish an Independent Living Home for Children with Disabilities In 2011, it’s a dream place for the children with disabilities. Where we admit Polio effected children and those who come from remote areas of Pakistan and belong to the very poor families. We provide them 10 years future leadership training with a skill set which help them sustain themselves in the future. The following are the facilities which are provided by the Voice Shelter to all our Polio students; – Accommodation – Nutrition – Health & Medication – Education – Sport & Entertainment – Mental Health (Life Coaching) All the facilities are provided to our Polio affected student at FREE OF COST. 

We are partners with TDEA organization (Trust for Democratic Education and Accountability) for awareness and empowerment of PWD’s to register as Voter, we are also working with Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) at province for litigation to involve PWD’s in election process. We feel proud while stating that we are the only group in Pakistan with various disabilities of Polio. This doesn’t stop us from speaking and writing for the rights and awareness of persons with disabilities through performing Art. 

We are very proud to state that the following societies are run by VOICE’s for the past 20 years, which are as follows;

2. Voice Musical Band of Persons with Disabilities 

3. Voice Puppetry Society of Persons with Disabilities Through these various society our polio children overcome on stage pride to perform on stage with the support of our team members, who are also participating with them to face big audience with full confidence. We write scripts, compose music, sing songs, direct our plays and then perform them on the stage.
